Amnel Antonio Garay Cruz, 23, was arrested with a pair of 15-year-old minors on Monday morning after attempting to flee from members of the Anne Arundel Police Department.
All three are from Baltimore, where their fates would ultimately be sealed.
Police say that shortly before 1:15 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 6, Cruz and the teens burst into the business at 705 Greenway in Glen Burnie brandishing a handgun and knives, demanding cash and tobacco products, to which the employees complied and the three fled in a Dodge Journey down Crain Highway.
Officers from the department were able to locate SUV and chased it into Baltimore, during which the teens bailed at different points during the pursuit, which came to its conclusion in the 2500 block of Southdene Avenue in Baltimore when Cruz relented and stopped the Dodge.
Cruz and the teens were arrested and are now facing pending charges for their roles in the armed robbery and subsequent police pursuit.
